Retreat
Lodges (Manufacturing) Limited began building lodges in October 2004.
The Managing Director Alan Rooke and Production Manager Trevor Lawson
have been instrumental in managing the growth of these construction activities
since inception. Prior to this they were both involved with lecturing
and training construction students at Carlisle College for a combined
total of 47 years. This has enabled them to select a highly skilled workforce
with the majority of our employees having been trained by ourselves.
Retreat Lodges (Manufacturing) Limited began trading after identifying a need for premium quality timber lodges individually designed to a client's specification. By January 2005 we had completed the first lodge and had been approved by the National Park Homes Council as complying with British Standard 3632 Residential Park Homes. Since then we have seen steady continued growth.
We
believe this growth is due to our belief in quality design, quality build
and quality finish.
Quality Design
Using CAD (Computer Aided Design) technology, Retreat Lodges have created a comprehensive range of innovative and exciting timber lodge styles. In addition we can easily alter any design to suit your individual requirements. Even if you have plans of your own for something completely unique, we can work with you to turn your dreams into reality.
Quality Build
Every
Retreat Lodge is manufactured to the highest standards with sustainability
in mind. They are all built to British Standard 3632 Residential Park
Homes Specification. This sets out stringent requirements regarding thermal
insulation, sound insulation, safety, construction and durability.
The National Park Homes Council makes 3 unannounced visits per year and 1 full inspection to ensure that the standards set out in BS3632 are being met.
